This works is published in the "Educational Papers" section as it is written in a pedagogical way to serve as an entry point for everyone who wants to start with scale-resolving simulations.
The authors present a validation of a turbulent channel flow at Re_tau 1000 and they compare implicit LES with the Sigma subgrid-scale model. The best part is that they provide the full case setup and the codes used for post-processing.
