Volume 5 Overview

Today we at the OpenFOAM Journal want to look back at our issue from last year, Volume 5 of the OpenFOAM Journal.
This 5th volume contains all the papers that were accepted for publication during 2025. It has many outstanding articles in the Full Papers and Technical Notes sections. You can find work on a variety of different topics, for example:

• cell-centred finite volume solvers for beams
• particle-resolved simulations
• conjugate heat transfer
• testing strategies for OpenFOAM projects

and many more.  We think it is a great collection of research. If you have not read the full issue yet, you should have a look now!
As always, all the papers, source codes and case files are provided so you can download and use them for your own setups.
